Lottie Drynan’s Famous Pink Bathroom

Seeking a fresh new bathroom and layout was key for this 1930’s semi-detached home. First thing we established was breaking down the wall between the toilet room and vanity/shower room—making it one. In the layout phase, we were able to create better space to fit in the shower to one side and the toilet on the other by moving the location of the door and changing it to a sliding pocket door. We wanted the bathroom to feel open and grand. Another way to help that idea was by placing double round mirrors that are visible upon entry (above the beautiful double floating vanity). And with a bright colour palette of soft soft pink, marble, and brushed brass gold, the bathroom suddenly had character. Furniture by Crosswater and tiles from Tile Mountain. Lottie was really helpful with her communication, which allowed this project to be completed timely and executed according to plan.
